Bridgette
Bridgette is the definition of sweet and gentle. She was just
rescued from a shelter where her time was up--the shelter staff
loved her so much, they gave her as much time as they could,
but her time had run out. She is a darling 2 1/2 year old girl
who just loves affection and loves to play and snuggle. She is
great with kids and other dogs of all sizes! She is learning all
the joys of getting to live inside a home and is very quickly
picking up housetraining--what a smart girl! It's really amazing
that a dog who has known nothing but life on the end of a chain
out in a yard can be so utterly loving and forgiving, and you
would never know by her loving disposition and easy-going manner
that she was treated so cruelly. Bridgette deserves a warm,
wonderful family and home, and she will be one of those "forever
grateful" dogs should you open your home and heart to her.

"A harbor, even if it is a little harbor, is a good thing, since
adventures come into it as well as go out, and the life in it grows
strong, because it takes something from the world and has something
to give in return." -Sarah Orne Jewett, from "River Driftwood"
(1881)
