Bullet

Hi. My name is Bullet and I am a 2 year old long haired German Shepherd. I'm a big boy - about 86 lbs now but I could gain another 5 -10 pounds. My foster mom says that while I'm drop dead gorgeous, my easy going temperament is my best feature. I'm a little shy, at first, but I warm up quickly and enjoy giving and receiving affection from new friends. I love human attention but I'm also happy to settle near my foster parents and lie quietly. I haven't figured out what toys and balls are all about. Right now, I'm content to watch my foster GSD sister play - maybe I'll try soon. I am a very alert guy and would love to chase the squirrels and birds, in the backyard. I should probably go to a home with kids over 8. I prefer to be an only dog but I do like some big female dogs and puppies, but my forever family should be one without small dogs or cats. My foster mom says that my forever home needs to continue the obedience training as I have a lot to learn. I'm catching on quickly, though. It's not my fault no one ever gave me the training and attention I deserve! For more information, contact Bullet's foster mom at io5ta@yahoo.com.

"A harbor, even if it is a little harbor, is a good thing, since adventures come into it as well as go out, and the life in it grows strong, because it takes something from the world and has something to give in return." -Sarah Orne Jewett, from "River Driftwood" (1881)
