My name is Cola, so named for the drink, because I'm brown and oh
so sweet! Don't let my size fool you, I'm still just a puppy. I
am about 9 months old, and already I weigh about 85 lbs. See, my
mom was a German Shepherd, and my dad was an Irish Wolfhound, so
that means I'm a German Wolfhound! Don't pay extra money for one
of those designer dogs, you've got one right here!!! I'm gonna be
big and I'll have another year of growing and filling out to do.
If you watch my video you can see how tall I am! I'm learning to
leave all the great stuff on the counter alone, but it's SO easy
to reach. My foster mom says I have such a soft, fuzzy coat, she
loves to pet me, and I love the attention. I also have a lot to
learn in the weeks and months to come. My last owner didn't
continue the training that was started when I was just a little
tiny tyke, so all these past months I got it into my head that I
could do whatever I wanted. So I get to this new foster home,
see, and boy they didn't think that was a very good thing at all,
so now I'm in training, whatever that is. All I know is that the
more I listen, the happier my foster family becomes, so I'm going
to keep doing it! My new family has to be willing to continue my
training, and they can't have any young kids either. Five or 6
years or older would be best 'cause I'm just so big and jumpy and
mouthy, so they say. Well hey, I have a mouth and no hands, so
that's what I use! But apparently they say I used it too much, so
they taught me how not to do that, and now I'm much gentler. I
absolutely LOVE the water, I play in the fish pond here and splash
around and make everybody laugh. I also love to jump in the big
bathtub, even when it's empty! I think it makes a great place to
play. I'm a big goofball, but I do have the brain of a shepherd,
so I'm gonna be pretty smart when my brain's done growing. I'd be
great at agility, too. Ask about me today!!!
