Moose
The first thing you notice when you look at Moose is that his head
doesn't seem to fit with the rest of his body. That's because his
body is wafer-thin from roaming the streets, sick and hungry.
This wonderful 5 year old rottie came to us feeling sick, tired
and scared, with his time running out. Just look at those sweet
eyes, what a story this soul has to tell! He seems to like
everyone he's met so far, as a kindly woman in the vet's waiting
room can attest after she was on the receiving end of lots of
slobbery kisses! He is getting all the care and TLC he needs, and
he is being treated for heartworm for the next 60 days. Moose
will be available for adoption in mid-May.

"A harbor, even if it is a little harbor, is a good thing, since
adventures come into it as well as go out, and the life in it grows
strong, because it takes something from the world and has something
to give in return." -Sarah Orne Jewett, from "River Driftwood"
(1881)
