Look who's come to hang out with the CSK9 crew! Beautiful, sweet little Skye. Skye is a 3 year old springer spaniel/pointer/maybe border collie mix who found herself homeless and in the shelter for waaaay too long. OMG how cute is this dog??? We can't understand why such a GOOD dog was passed over again and again. We are still learning about our new girl, but so far we can tell you that she is house-trained, crate-trained, a great car rider, loves her baths and brushing, and is good with other dogs as long as she can be the boss. She weighs about 35 lbs and is just about the cutest black and white spotted pooch we've ever met. She has great leash manners, and has a medium energy level. After she's done her walk, she especially loves sunning herself on a warm deck! Children over 8 please, and no cats for this girl, and a fence is a must. Skye would be great as an only dog, since she seems to be more focused on her people than on other dog friends. She would be a wonderful running companion if you enjoy taking your pooch along on your run. She does enjoy wrestling and hanging out with most other dogs. She is agile and nimble and would be a great agility dog, too! She is learning lots of new tricks in her foster home, including hopping into the bathtub for her bath. Our bright girl responds well to corrections and is enjoying learning even more manners in her foster home. Once in awhile, we run across a charming dog who has been overlooked for too long.
